CA Technologies (Nasdaq: CA) has named Kieran McGrath, previously interim chief financial officer, to executive vice president and CFO in a move that takes effect immediately.
McGrath will report directly to CEO Mike Gregoire and manage the company’s global corporate and business unit financial functions, encompassing controller role, treasury, tax, investor relations and risk management functions, CA Technologies said Monday.

McGrath joined CA Technologies as corporate controller in 2014 to oversee accounting, financial planning, pricing, business development, investor relations, business controls and enterprise risk management functions.
He held a three-decade career at IBM (NYSE: IBM) and led the finance team for Big Blue’s software business prior to his appointment at CA Technologies.
