Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has secured a potential five-year, $155 million prime contract from the Customs and Border Protection agency to administer and maintain X-ray and imaging systems for CBP.Tim Reardon
The award covers maintenance of non-intrusive inspection equipment such as the VACIS inspection platforms, radiation portal monitors and radiation isotope identification devices, Leidos said Thursday.
The company added it aims to help CBP manage operational readiness and ensure proper functioning of agency equipment through systems support services.
Tim Reardon, president of Leidos’ intelligence and homeland security business, said the company will continue to support the CBP mission to secure land border crossings, airports, seaports and rail crossings within the U.S.
The contract contains one base year and four option years.
