TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 20, 2016 ” Boeing (NYSE: BA) has received the first set of propulsion system hardware for the CST-100 Starliner spacecraft from Aerojet Rocketdyne, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
Aerojet Rocketdyne said Tuesday the delivery includes the low-pressure port and starboard manifold assemblies.
The propulsion system will work to provide launch-abort function to the spacecraft for ascent, launch vehicle separation, docking to and undocking from the International Space Station and reentry.
