Colsa has won a potential five-year, $103 million contract from the Defense Intelligence Agency for scientific computing and analytical technical services to DIA’s Missile and Space Intelligence Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
The company will help the agency manage MSIC analytical network, model and simulate computationally-intensive computer system operations and maintain high-performance computing hardware and software, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
The Virginia Contracting Activity received and evaluated three proposals for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through a full and open competition using a “best value” source selection method.
MSIC, located at the U.S. Army‘s Redstone Arsenal base, provides multisource scientific and technical intelligence on missile and defense weapons, C4ISR and space systems to DoD planners and decision-makers.
The Pentagon expects Colsa to finish contract work by Sept. 27, 2021.
