April Doss
April Doss, formerly associate general counsel for intelligence law at the National Security Agency, has been named partner and chair of cybersecurity and privacy practice at law firm Saul Ewing.
Saul Ewing said Tuesday Doss will work out of its offices in Washington and Baltimore and will advise homeland security, defense and intelligence clients on privacy policy development, cyber preparedness, incident response and litigation.
Doss spent nearly 13 years at NSA and helped oversee legal issues associated with privacy, cybersecurity, big data, and compliance programs.
Prior to NSA, she worked as assistant and acting general counsel at Goucher College and associate attorney at Ward, Kershaw and Minton.
Doss previously served as an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland™s Francis King Carey School of Law and University of Baltimore Law School.
She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional and an International Association of Privacy Professionals member.
