Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) has received a $159 million task order to standardize the U.S. Army‘s tactical and data network systems in an effort to help soldiers connect to the network.
The company will work to integrate and streamline hardware, software, security and tactical network initialization tools for the Army’s Project Director – Network Enablers office, Booz Allen said Thursday.
Bill Schuler, senior vice president of the Army C4ISR business at Booz Allen, said the company will perform engineering services in support of the PD Net E and the tactical network.
Booz Allen will also provide C4ISR support to Program Managers – Tactical Radios and Program Manager – Warfighter Information Network“Tactical.
The five-year task order is awarded under the General Services AdministrationAlliant contract.
