Red River Appoints Anthony Christie as CEO

Red River has appointed Anthony Christie as CEO, effective immediately. Mike Sanford, a Red River board member, said in a statement that Christie’s experience and passion make him well-suited to lead the technology transformation company

“Anthony is the right leader to guide Red River forward,” commented Sanford. “He brings a strong combination of operational leadership, industry experience and strategic thinking. His authenticity, passion for the company’s mission and commitment to our people position him well to lead Red River through its next phase of growth and innovation.”

Who is Red River’s CEO?

Christie has served as a member of Red River’s board of directors since 2021. More recently, he assumed the responsibilities of the company’s executive chairman and interim CEO, where he built strong industry relationships and led the development of the company’s strategic plan.   

Before Red River, he held the role of chief operating officer at IT services firm Trace3. He was also chief market officer for Level 3 Communications and had multiple executive positions, including as chief technology and information officer and chief marketing officer at Global Crossing.

The executive currently sits as a board member at Source Code and serves as president on a part-time basis for A&H Forestry & Fishery Foundation, according to his LinkedIn profile. 

As CEO of Red River, Christie will oversee the execution of the company’s strategic direction and ensure alignment across its three core businesses. 

“Red River has a strong foundation, a talented team and a powerful purpose,” the executive stated. “I’m excited to build on our momentum and drive continued innovation and value for our customers and partners.”
