Leidos Makes 3 Key Appointments

Leidos has promoted industry executives Gregory Pejic, John Pierce and Josh Hill to senior leadership positions.

In a LinkedIn post published Monday, Pejic said he will serve as a vice president and space account manager at the Reston, Virginia-based company.

In a separate post on the professional networking site, Pierce said he will assume the role of VP and chief engineer at Leidos.

Hill also announced on LinkedIn that he will serve as chief operations officer at the defense and IT services contractor.

Pejic most recently served as Leidos’ account manager for national security space.

Prior to joining the company in 2021, he served as deputy assistant secretary of defense for space policy at the Department of Defense.

The national security space leader held various federal civil service positions, including principal director for unity of effort integration at the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Strategy, Policy and Plans and senior analyst for systems and resource analyses at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. He also served as a Presidential Management Fellow within the DHS Office of the Chief Financial Officer.

John Pierce, VP & Chief Engineer

Pierce has been with Leidos for more than a decade. Since joining the company in 2013, he has held various roles, including chief architect, master solution architect and deputy chief engineer in support of the contractor’s public sector customers.

Before Leidos, he was a principal solution architect at SAIC and executive director for information services at Prologue Research International.

Josh Hill, Chief Operations Officer

According to his LinkedIn profile, Hill will be responsible for the BuckEye program at Leidos, overseeing mobilization and daily operations, managing airborne flight operations and enforcing operating procedures, among other responsibilities.

Before assuming his current role, he was deputy director of operations for European Command at Leidos.

He joined the company in 2017 and held several positions, including site operations manager, geospatial analyst and resource manager.

Prior to Leidos, Hill spent over two years at Mandli Communications, where he served as support team product owner and technical support engineer.

The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University graduate served in the U.S. Army as a geospatial engineer.
