Maximus has appointed technology leader Duncan McCaskill as vice president of data and Ron Leidner, most recently a senior adviser at the Internal Revenue Service, as VP of client engagement at the company’s federal services business.
McCaskill and Leidner announced their new roles at the McLean, Virginia-based government services contractor in separate LinkedIn posts.
Duncan McCaskill’s Career Highlights
According to his LinkedIn profile, McCaskill most recently served as technical director for mission engineering at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
Before CISA, he was chief data and artificial intelligence officer at the Department of the Navy, where he also served as chief analytics officer.
The University of Virginia graduate’s industry career included executive roles at several companies, including Decipher Technology Studios, Cleared Solutions, LinQuest and Newbrook Solutions.
Earlier in his career, McCaskill served as an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, deputy program manager at ManTech and analyst at SAIC.
Ron Leidner’s Professional Background
As head of client engagement at Maximus Federal Services, Leidner will leverage his experience leading large-scale programs, overseeing process improvement efforts and driving growth and innovation.
As a technology adviser at IRS, Leidner helped evaluate and improve internal processes and assess internal controls for technological investments, audit, finance and procurement efforts. In this capacity, he developed and deployed methodology to modernize case management applications for IRS business units and led the implementation of an IRS-wide Technology Demand Intake Process, according to his profile on the professional networking site.
He spent 13 years at the IRS, where he held leadership roles, including director of business technology operations, head of data delivery services and director of compliance.
