K. Ryan Jenkins was appointed executive director for business development at J&J Worldwide Services, a CBRE government and defense business.
He brings extensive experience in base operational support, logistics and program management, having led large-scale defense operations in various locations globally.
According to Jenkins’ LinkedIn profile, he will spearhead J&J’s business development and capture initiatives outside the contiguous United States. He will also be tasked with developing strong links with Department of Defense agencies and accounts while expanding the company’s market presence.
Career Highlights
Prior to his appointment at J&J, Jenkins served as senior vice president of business development at global life support services company Taylors International Services. He also spent two years at business consulting and services firm the Palladium Group, working as a senior DOD business development adviser.
He had stints as senior business manager at Amentum’s Business Management Division in Afghanistan and as senior business director at Constellis in Singapore.
Jenkins also founded the property management firm Braemar Management in 2021 and currently serves as its CEO and president.
He is a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve and has held various posts since 2003, including division-level G-35 plans officer, commerce and trade officer, and aviation officer.
Recent Moves at J&J
Aside from Jenkins’ appointment, J&J made several executive moves over the past few months.
In December, the company promoted Patrick Roddy from executive vice president of operations to CEO and executive managing director. He replaced Steve Kelley, who became vice chairman and senior adviser for commercial strategy and strategic partnerships for CBRE’s global workplace solutions segment and government and defense services business.
