Mike Daniels Appointed VP, General Manager of Public Sector at Databricks

Mike Daniels, a seasoned technology executive, has been appointed vice president and general manager of public sector at Databricks, he announced on a LinkedIn post Sunday.

In his new role, Daniels will be responsible for driving the growth of the company’s Data intelligence platform and helping enable public sector entities to organize, understand, govern and ensure universal data accessibility.

Mike Daniels’ Career Highlights

Daniels previously served as senior VP for public sector at UiPath, where he oversaw the growth of the company’s enterprise automation platform. He also briefly worked in a similar role at Celonis, where he was tasked with helping businesses enhance their processes through the company’s execution management system platform.

The executive served as VP for global public sector at Google Cloud and SVP for public sector sales at Salesforce. Daniels also worked as group VP of public sector technology sales at Oracle, where he led the public selector sales for the company’s database, middleware and business intelligence portfolio.

“In today’s AI-driven landscape, harnessing a data intelligence platform is crucial for substantial enterprise impact,” said Daniels. “Data Intelligence is a prerequisite of enterprise AI and we offer public sector entities the most innovative platform to deliver on this imperative.”
