DMI Sets Sights on Digital Transformation, Managed Services

Digital services provider DMI has divested a business segment to digital engineering services firm Encora to strengthen its focus on delivering innovative technology platforms to federal, state and local government agencies and providing managed services for public sector and commercial customers.

Advancing Digital Transformation

Following the sale, DMI said Thursday it will maintain its positions in key digital transformation areas, such as managed services, network management, artificial intelligence-driven technologies, application development, cloud modernization and cybersecurity.

“We remain steadfast in our core mission to deliver transformative, innovative technology solutions that empower our clients to achieve their goals,” said DMI CEO Rocky Thurston.

“Our outcomes driven approach ensures that every solution we deliver – whether through AI, cloud, network management, cybersecurity, or our market-leading managed mobility services – aligns with our clients’ mission-critical needs and empowers them to achieve measurable success,” added Thurston.

The company noted that it will continue collaborating with industry partners, such as MicrosoftAmazon Web ServicesGoogle CloudServiceNow and Salesforce.

Strategic Divestiture

Encora acquired DMI’s commerce, marketing and strategy and digital engineering services segment.

The business is focused on supporting commercial clients through domestic and international delivery.

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher acted as legal counsel of DMI in the transaction. Guggenheim Securities advised the company on the deal’s financial aspect.
