GSA Eyes Potential $920M BPA for Supply Chain Risk Illumination Tools

The General Services Administration has issued a draft request for quote outlining its plan to establish under GSA’s Multiple Award Schedules contract a potential 10-year, $919.7 million blanket purchase agreement for the acquisition of supply chain risk illumination tools and analytic support services.

The proposed Supply Chain Risk Illumination Professional Tools and Services BPA will have a five-year base term and an option period of five years and seek to help mitigate risks of fraud, abuse and adversarial exploitation of the supply chain, according to a special notice published Friday on SAM.gov.

With the SCRIPTS BPA, the Department of Defense and federal civilian executive branch agencies will have access to deployable supply chain risk illumination tools for vendor vetting, cyber hygiene and foreign ownership control and influence, among others, to help screen vendors and evaluate supplier risks in real time.

GSA will accept questions and comments on the draft RFQ through Nov. 14 and will hold an industry day on Dec. 12 to provide information on the SCRIPTS BPA solicitation. Stakeholders that intend to join the webinar have until Nov. 8 to register for the event.

Companies that do not hold positions on MAS will not be eligible to submit a quote for the proposed BPA, which seeks to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment and will be partially set aside for small businesses.

Interested vendors can use the FASt Lane process to submit an e-offer no later than Dec. 31.
