Rob Rainhart Elevated to HawkEye 360 President; John Serafini Quoted

Rob Rainhart, formerly chief operating officer at HawkEye 360, was named president of the Herndon, Virginia-headquartered radio frequency and satellite systems developer.

He will oversee programs, product development, technology delivery and human resources functions and guide the company’s strategy for expanding into the RF data and analytics market, HawkEye 360 said Tuesday.

Rainhart started his career at HawkEye 360 as executive vice president of engineering and product in 2016 and was promoted to COO in 2019.

Commenting on Rainhart’s appointment, John Serafini, CEO of HawkEye 360, said, “So much of HawkEye 360’s growth and development over these years is directly due to his leadership, commitment and care for this great company. There is no one who so well represents our corporate values.”

Rainhart previously spent 12 years at RT Logic, now part of Kratos Defense and Security Solutions (Nasdaq: KTOS), where he served as principal engineer and director of technology and innovation.

Earlier in his career, he was a design engineer at the former Harris company.
