Amentum Wins $475M Navy F-16 Maintenance, Logistics Support Contract

Amentum has won an eight-year, $475 million contract to provide maintenance and logistics support for the U.S. Navy’s F-16 aircraft fleet.

The company will help the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division maintain F-16A/B/C/D variants at the organizational, intermediate and depot levels, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

NAWCAD received four offers via an electronic solicitation for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

The service branch will obligate funds upon the issuance of individual orders. Seventy-five percent of work will occur in Fallon, Nevada, and the rest in Lemoore, California, through August 2031.

According to the Navy, the F-16 was designed to perform air combat and air-to-surface roles.
