Since Weis’ induction into the 2023 Wash100 class, the Navy has issued a multitude of contracts to further the service branch’s Information Superiority Vision. The strategy was spearheaded by Weis, who has spoken extensively about the importance of improving the Navy’s information technology systems.

In February, the Navy awarded General Dynamics Information Technology a contract to provide electromagnetic environmental effects services to bolster the service branch’s command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems.

The Navy also issued a contract to Tetrad Digital Integrity to conduct Navy Authorizing Official risk management framework cybersecurity support services for the U.S. Fleet Cyber Command/U.S. Tenth Fleet.
