BlueAlly Expands Federal Market Footprint With n2grate Acquisition; George Barkley Quoted

Cary, North Carolina-based BlueAlly Technology Solutions has purchased n2grate Government Technology Solutions in a transaction that strengthens its alliances with vendors and expands its presence in the federal government market.

BlueAlly CEO George Barkley said in a statement published Thursday the acquisition of n2grate offers strategic diversification to the company’s core business and further builds up its vendor alliances.

“We are excited to welcome a team of focused professionals with deep understanding of the federal space, and I have great confidence in the success of our combined efforts,” added Barkley.

Greenbelt, Maryland-based n2grate provides information technology platforms and services to government and commercial clients. The company’s team of IT professionals has experience in security, networking and infrastructure.

Founded in 1999, BlueAlly is a portfolio company of private equity firm Source Capital and provides data center infrastructure, cloud, networking and security, hardware, software and other IT offerings for government, education, health care and commercial customers.
