Ventech Solutions has named Fred Altimont and Tony Meyer, respectively former executives at Optum Health and Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), senior vice presidents of growth and business development.
They will report to Ventech CEO Tonia Bleecher and aim to grow the health care technology provider’s public sector business, the Ohio-based company said Tuesday.
Altimont most recently served as BD VP at Optum Health. His industry career spans 30 years and includes a seven-year tenure at Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) as program executive for public sector health and education BD. He also held various positions at Infor, Intel Security, McAfee, Smartronix and ViiMed.
Before he joined Ventech, Meyer was an SAIC director in charge of veterans affairs business development initiatives.
He previously worked at Halfaker and Associates as VP of veterans affairs and defense health and held leadership roles at CSRA and MicroHealth.
“With their track record of success and our range of technology products and offerings, we’re looking forward to extending our ability to serve more of our federal customers with the solutions and services that enable their mission,” Bleecher said.
