The U.S. Army has awarded positions on a $910 million hybrid contract to 22 companies for the maintenance of machines, systems and vehicles over a five-year period.
The contractors will compete for orders under the cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price award to provide repair and overhaul support services to ensure the military assets are kept operational, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
