Emergent Secures $420M Software License Agreement With Department of the Air Force

Emergent will help the Department of the Air Force obtain licenses for 12 core Oracle software products and the Java Standard Edition platform under a potential five-year, $419.7 million contract.

The Enterprise Software License Agreement II also offers a suite of customer services and a catalog for DAF agencies to acquire discounted technology offerings not covered in the contract’s unlimited provision, Emergent said Tuesday.

Nelle Doyle, senior vice president of federal sales at Emergent’s parent company Mythics, the company will deploy Oracle platforms to support more than 300 agency systems.

Virginia-based Emergent is the Air Force’s prime Oracle contractor under the Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V contract managed by NASA.

The Department of Defense reported an $80 million ESLA II delivery order to Emergent on Feb. 23.
