Matt Desch on Iridium’s Comms Support for Monuments Officers’ Honduras Mission

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 10, 2022 — Iridium Communications (Nasdaq: IRDM) provided push-to-talk handsets and satellite connectivity in support of a U.S. Army Reserve program aimed at identifying, safeguarding and preserving cultural heritage sites in Honduras, ExecutiveBiz reported.

Commenting on the company’s work on the Monuments Officers program, Matt Desch, CEO of Iridium and a 2022 Wash100 Award recipient, said staff deployed in remote sites were given access to real-time communications via PTT devices.
