Air Force Releases Draft RFP for Follow-On Mission Planning Support Contract

The U.S. Air Force is asking companies to review and provide feedback on a draft solicitation for the service branch’s follow-on contract for mission combat system and planning support work.

Interested vendors have until Jan. 7 to submit their comments about presolicitation Mission Planning Support Contract IV documents, according to a notice posted Monday on SAM.gov.

USAF needs configuration management, technical documentation, maintenance, customer support, training and test force support services to sustain mission planning environments.

MPEs consolidate software, hardware, logistics, training, data and other resources used for mission planning. The MPE sustainment effort also requires international sustainment, product familiarization, mission planning central management and worldwide deployment of system support representatives.

Summit Technologies helps manage the service branch’s mission planning process under the $250 million MPSC III contract awarded in August 2017.
