An MRM Construction Services and Sundt Construction joint venture, R.C. Construction, Southwest Concrete Paving, and Acme Construction Supply-RHB JV will compete for task orders under the U.S. Army’s airfield paving contract.
The Department of Defense said Wednesday the firm-fixed-price contract for paving work is potentially worth $400 million over a seven-year period ending on Aug. 31, 2028.
As the contracting activity, Army Corps of Engineers will award orders that will determine contract work locations and funding. The Omaha, Nebraska-headquartered public engineering services arm of the Army held an online solicitation for the contract and received six offers for it.
RC Construction operates from Greenwood, Mississippi, and provides construction services for the military. Its main market is industry services while its sub-industry is engineering and construction.
Meanwhile, the other three awardees from Nevada and Arizona also offer the said services to commercial and government customers.
