ArchTIS Signs Federal Channel Partners for Data Security Offering; Kurt Mueffelmann Quoted

ArchTIS and its U.S. subsidiary, Nucleus Cyber, have signed on four channel partners to offer information security technology to government contractors that want to pursue the Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program.

Canberra, Australia-based archTIS said Wednesday its newly formed U.S. federal and defense sales and channel practice partnered with Carahsoft Technology, Hawk Associates, IMPRES Technology and TechSolnz in a push to help defense industrial base suppliers meet CMMC requirements.

“With the migration to the Cloud, BYOD, and Covid-19 creating a worldwide remote workforce, there truly is no perimeter anymore,” said Kurt Mueffelmann, global chief operating officer and U.S. president at archTIS.

Mueffelmann added that the company seeks to help contractors comply with DOD’s cybersecurity standards with the use of attribute-based access control platforms.

ArchTIS’ ABAC technology offers a “fine-grained security” approach meant to support risk reduction and zero trust implementation programs.

The Australian security software provider said its portfolio includes the Kojensi and NC Protect platforms designed to secure sharing of sensitive and classified information.
