Ken Krieg, a board member at LMI since 2008, has been elected to serve as board chair of the Tysons, Va.-based management consulting firm.
He succeeds Todd Stottlemyer, who will continue to serve on LMIs board, the company said Wednesday.

Krieg serves as a director at BWX Technologies and operates consulting firm Samford Global Strategies.
He served in the Department of Defense and held the roles of defense undersecretary for acquisition, technology and logistics, director for program analysis and evaluation and special assistant to the secretary of DoD.
Lisa Disbrow, former undersecretary of the U.S. Air Force who joined LMI board in June, was appointed chair of the companys audit committee.
