City Light & Power to Manage Keesler AFB Electric Distribution System Under $127M Contract

City Light & Power has won a 50-year, $126.6M contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to own, operate and maintain an electric distribution system at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi.

DLA’s energy organization received four responses for the fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment contract via a competitive acquisition process, the Department of Defense said Friday.

The Pentagon expects work to conclude by Aug. 31, 2069.

Greenwood Village, Colo.-based City Light & Power currently manages the electrical distribution systems for March Air Reserve Base and Travis AFB in California, Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland and Hill AFB in Utah.
