Jacobs Secures DOE Contract Extension for Hanford Site, Columbia River Cleanup

TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 12, 2018 — Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) will continue to support the Energy Department‘s environmental remediation operations along the Columbia River and sections of the former Hanford nuclear production site under a one-year contract extension, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The company said Wednesday its work includes demolition, radioactive material retrieval, waste disposal, revegetation completion and maintenance of the Fast Flux Test Facility, with the extension running through Sept. 20 next year.
