Alion to Support Rapid Prototyping Efforts at Army Futures Command

TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 10, 2018 — Alion Science and Technology will help build military technology prototypes for the Army Futures Command under a $49.8M contract with the goal to utilize resources from the commercial and academic sectors, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The company said Monday its engineers will collaborate with the Army Applications Lab on rapid prototyping efforts that will work to transition industry concepts and innovation into sustainable capabilities at the U.S. Army as part of the service branch’s force modernization program.
