Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has appointed two executives to new senior vice president roles in a move that takes effect immediately.
Donaghey will oversee the implementation of the firm’s mergers and acquisitions strategy and help develop and execute SAIC’s strategic plan to support growth initiatives in collaboration with the senior management team.
Donaghey’s “expertise in government services and his knowledge of emerging technologies and capital markets are an asset to our organization,” said Moraco, a 2018 Wash100 recipient.
Prior to SAIC, Donaghey previously served as VP of corporate strategy and development at KeyW (Nasdaq: KEYW) and as a senior research analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Capital Markets.
Tom Eldrige, formerly SVP for SAIC’s government affairs office, will report to SAIC Chief Operating Officer Nazzic Keene as SVP of the newly formed strategic development and communications office that combines the company’s business development, technology, government affairs and communication functions.
Eldridge will manage operations related to market intelligence; corporate social responsibility; marketing communications; sales enablement; strategy support and business development; and external and internal communications.
Keene said Eldridge will lead the newly created organization that will support SAIC’s growth and strategy execution efforts.
Prior to his move to SAIC in 2009, Eldridge held roles at the State Department and the National Security Council and previously served as a counsel for the 9/11 Commission and the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee.
