The U.S. Army has awarded spots to a PAE business unit and an IAP Worldwide Services subsidiary on a potential five-year, $547 million contract to support the U.S. Central Command’s theater transportation mission.
PAE Government Services and Readiness Management Support will vie for task orders to provide heavy lift, material handling equipment, line haul and personnel transportation services throughout Centcom’s area of responsibility, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
The Army Contracting Command received five bids for the firm-fixed-price contract through an online-based solicitation and will provide funds and performance locations with each order.
The Pentagon expects both contractors to finish work by Feb. 28, 2023.
