Cubic said Monday Feldmann succeeds Walter C. Zable, who held the board chairman role for the past five years.
As president and CEO, Feldmann leads Cubic’s efforts to grow its defense and transportation businesses as well as offerings in the command, control, communications, computers intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance market.
He was named to the dual-role in July 2014 and began serving on the board of directors in May 2014.
Feldmann also previously served as chief operating officer of the company and led the defense systems segment as president.
He joined Cubic following his tenure as COO of security company OMNIPLEX World Services.
