Globecomm has secured a spot on a potential 10-year, $2.5 billion General Services Administration contract vehicle for managed network systems that utilize commercial satellite communications technology platforms and services.
The company said Monday the Complex Commercial SATCOM Solutions contract works to help government agencies access products and services necessary to configure, design, implement, install, maintain and operate satcom systems.
Dwight Hunsicker, executive vice president and general manager of Globecomm’s government solutions unit, said the company will partner with GSA to help address customer agencies’ wide area communication requirements through the CS3 contract.
Hunsicker added the company’s offerings under the CS3 program include communications infrastructure integration, global network connectivity and lifecycle support services.
