Accenture Grant to Help Expand Syracuse University’s Veteran Career Transition Initiative


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 14, 2017 — Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has partnered with Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families and awarded $2.5 million to fund a university program that seeks to provide learning and employment support to service members leaving the military, GovCon Executive reported Monday.

The company said Friday the grant will work to expand the institute’s Onward to Opportunity – Veteran Career Transition program as it works to offer training, certification and employment opportunities for transitioning veterans and their spouses.
