GCN reported Thursday that AMC’s logistics support activity installed sensors on 350 Strykers to provide data that Watson analyzed based on maintenance manuals and work orders in order to determine the condition of individual vehicles and enable fixes ahead of time.

Sam Gordy, general manager of IBM’s federal business and an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2017, said Watson served as a “personalized medicine for each vehicle.”
