AECOM, Siemens Vet Anshooman Aga to Succeed John Thomas as Cubic CFO in October

Anshooman Aga

Anshooman Aga, formerly a senior vice president and chief financial officer at AECOM’s (NYSE: ACM) design and consulting services business in the Americas, will join Cubic (NYSE: CUB) as executive VP on July 17.

Aga will take over as CFO on Oct. 1 and succeed John “Jay” Thomas, who will assume the executive adviser post through his retirement on Oct. 1, 2018, Cubic said Tuesday.

Bradley Feldmann, Cubic president and CEO, said Anshooman is an experienced financial executive and his appointment comes as the company works to build up its business in current and new markets.

Prior to AECOM, Aga spent more than a decade at Siemens and held CFO roles for the company’s energy automation, rail electrification and TurboCare business units.

He also held various finance and accounting roles at Unify, formerly Siemens Enterprise Networks.

Thomas is a more than 40-year Cubic veteran who has been EVP and CFO since 2013.

He previously served as SVP of corporate development and finance at Cubic and held leadership roles at Aramark (NYSE: ARMK), CVideo and Crocker Bank.
