Boeing Lands $89M Navy Contract Modification for F/A-18, EA-18G Maintenance, Sustainment Services

Boeing (NYSE: BA) has received an $89.2 million contract modification from the U.S. Navy to provide additional depot-level maintenance support and sustainment services for the service branch’s F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft units.

The Defense Department said Friday that the company will perform high flight hour and recurring inspections, additional modifications and liaison engineering on both aircraft platforms.

The Naval Air Systems Command is the contracting activity and will obligate funds upon issuance of individual delivery orders.

Boeing will carry out work in Jacksonville, Florida, through December 2017.
