AECOM to Maintain Navy Fleet Readiness Center Equipment Under $177.5M Contract; John Vollmer Comments


AECOM (NYSE: ACM) has received a potential $177.5 million contract to maintain, repair and overhaul equipment at various U.S. Navy facilities.

The company said Tuesday it will provide maintenance services to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, which oversees launch-and-recovery equipment and other support equipment for the military branch’s fixed and vertical wing aircraft operations.

John Vollmer, president of AECOM’s management services group and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2017, said the company aims to help the Navy ensure that the service branch’s fleet and aviation support equipment are ready and well-equipped to support missions.

The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract has one base year, four one-year options and an additional one six-month option.

AECOM will perform work in Maryland, Florida, California, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Texas, Washington, El Salvador and Japan.
