Shamlan Siddiqi
Shamlan Siddiqi, formerly vice president for digital and cloud services at NTT Data (NYSE: NTT), has assumed the role of chief technology officer for the company’s public sector business.
NTT Data said Thursday Siddiqi will oversee the public sector group’s technology, advisory and innovation programs with government agencies.
“Shamlan brings a wealth of both public sector and IT knowledge to our leadership team,” said Tim Conway, president of NTT Data’s public sector unit and an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2017.
“I look forward to a mission-oriented approach under Shamlans leadership.”
Siddiqi has more than 20 years of IT experience and has worked at companies such as American Management Systems, CGI (NYSE: GIB) and Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), where he worked as a senior consultant with public sector clients such as the Food and Drug Administration before he joined NTT Data in 2005.
He served as NTT Data’s director, senior director then VP for architecture and application development prior to his appointment as digital and cloud services VP in June 2014.
Siddiqi is a recipient of the CIO University and George Washington University’s CIO Certificate in Federal Executive Competencies.
