Gilbane‘s federal business has won aÂ $133.5 million contract from the U.S. Army to construct theÂ U.S. Forces Korea’s operations center andÂ a facility at theÂ U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys.
The Defense Department said Monday work will occur in South Korea throughÂ May 2, 2020.
TheÂ Army Corps of Engineers received seven offers for the contract via the internet and obligated the full contract amount from the service branch’s fiscal 2017 “other” funds.
Gilbane’s federal unit is headquartered in Concord, California, andÂ offers global construction, fuels and environmental services to support domestic and international projects of U.S. government customers.
