Air Force Taps Doss Aviation for $290M Ground, Flight Training Contract

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Doss Aviation a potential 10-year, $290 million contract to provide ground and flight training for pilots, combat systems officers, remotely piloted aircraft pilots and international military students.

Doss Aviation will implement an initial flight training program meant to prepare participants for specialized undergraduate pilot, SCO and RPA training, the Defense Department said Friday.

The company will perform contract work in Pueblo, Colorado, through Jan. 31, 2027.

The Air Force obligated $182, 598 in fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.

The 338th Specialized Contracting Squadron received four bids for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract,  which also includes foreign military sales to multiple countries.
