Air Force Selects Raytheon to Update F-16 Mission Computer System

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 20, 2016 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has been tasked by the U.S. Air Force to produce a new modular mission computer system for the military service’s F-16 aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The computer update is designed with multicore processing, cybersecurity and high-speed computing and data networking features, the company said Friday.
