TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 22, 2016 Mark Scallion, vice president of SAP‘s (NYSE: SAP) public services unit, has stated that SAP’s federal civilian business has seen increased business in big data and analytics as it works to help agencies consolidate their data into a single platform.
Scallion told ExecutiveBiz in an interview published Thursday that he also anticipates the federal civilian market to have growing demand for agile business transformation based on best practices and technologies from the commercial sector, as well as shared services.
“This represents a great opportunity for SAP to help facilitate the sharing of government infrastructure, resources, services and systems to drive efficiencies and cost savings across large government enterprises, ” he said.
