Barbara Humpton: Siemens Eyes Navy Infrastructure Readiness Across NAVFAC Southeast Region

TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 27, 2016 — Siemens Government Technologies will provide design, installation and repair support for fire protection systems at U.S. Navy facilities under the $49 million contract it secured from the service branch in May, GovCon Executive reported Thursday.

The company said Wednesday the multi-award contract covers support across Naval Facilities Engineering Command‘s Southeast region, which includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas as well as the Bahamas, Cuba and Guantanamo Bay.

Barbara Humpton, president and CEO of SGT, said the company will utilize its fire alarm and mass notification technologies to drive infrastructure readiness for the Navy and U.S. Marine Corps.
