TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 2, 2018 Zscaler (Nasdaq: ZS) has secured a Moderate-impact-level certification under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program for its government-focused internet security and web gateway technology, which is also compliant with the Trusted Internet Connections 3.0 draft policy, ExecutiveBiz reported Dec. 18.
The company said Dec. 17 its Zscaler Internet Access-Government platform works to enable agencies to route mission-critical traffic directly to the cloud and thus reduce associated costs, as well as allow internet users to securely access externally managed applications on any device, network or location.
Stephen Kovac, vice president of global government and compliance at Zscaler, calls the certification “the first step in bridging the importance of FedRAMP with the IT modernization and TIC, as agencies move to a TIC-in-the-Cloud model.”
