The U.S. Navy has selected Wyle Laboratories in Huntsville, Ala., to test and evaluate manned air vehicles for Naval Test Wing Atlantic/Pacific squadrons under a potential five-year, $81.2 million contract.
Wyle will provide qualified and certified operational aircrew as part of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Ninety-four percent of contract work will take place at Naval Air Station in Patuxent River, Md., and the remaining six percent will occur at two naval air stations in California.
The service branch received two offers for the IDIQ and will obligate funds on individual orders.
