The award raised the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract’s maximum value from $500 million to $754 million, the enterprise cybersecurity and mobile technology provider said Tuesday.
Under the CWMS 2.0 contract, WidePoint provides its proprietary Intelligent Technology Management System platform, managed services, cellular wireless equipment and devices, cellular and data service, project management, mobile device management, 24×7 service desk support, and other optional services.
“WidePoint has seen a rapid increase in contracting activity with CWMS 2.0 and currently has task orders in place with every major DHS component agency,” said Todd Dzyak, chief operating officer at WidePoint. “In order to address the increased activity, WidePoint is establishing a formalized Program Management Office model to manage this expansive contract.”
The initial $500 million contract was awarded in December 2020. It has a base year plus four one-year options that would extend work through Nov. 24, 2025.
“The additional $254 million represents nearly a 55% increase to the original contract value, underscoring that WidePoint’s managed services are enabling these agencies to maximize their resources while executing their critical mission of protecting the United States,” remarked WidePoint CEO Jin Kang.
