Cody will be responsible for overseeing the areas of education studies and social policy and economics in his next position, Westat said.
He joined the employee-owned company through its acquisition of Insight Policy Research in June and has gained three decades of research and evaluation experience over the course of his career.
During his five-year tenure at Insight, Cody oversaw research programs on health, education, food and nutrition, and family support to benefit marginalized populations.
His prior experience includes time as managing director of shared services platform developer Project Evident, SVP at Mathematica Policy Research and director of technical assistance at the National Council for Urban Economic Development.
