TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 21, 2016 Bill Rowan, vice president of federal sales at VMware (NYSE: VMW), has urged federal agencies to utilize hybrid cloud and integrate private and public platforms as part of their adoption of the as-a-service business model, ExecutiveBiz reported May 11.
Rowan wrote in a guest piece published in the March-April 2016 issue of GCN magazine that hybrid cloud works to support workload and application management flexibility and balance security and scalability requirements.
“Applications have historically been moved to the cloud, but now new solutions will be built with the understanding theyll run on a cloud infrastructure, ” he said.
