Tom Kellermann, head of cybersecurity strategy for VMware (NYSE: VMW), has joined the advisory board of identity detection and response company Attivo Networks.
Kellerman has more than two decades of industry experience, having held cybersecurity roles at Carbon Black, Core Security, Trend Micro and World Bank Treasury, Attivo said Thursday.
He previously served on the U.S. Secret Service’s Cyber Investigations Advisory Board and on the Commission on Cybersecurity for the 44th Presidency.
“I look forward to collaborating with Attivo Networks to help organizations understand active directory risks and attack activity and design holistic deception and data cloaking strategies,” Kellermann said.
