Mike Ammann
Mike Ammann, formerly strategic relationship executive of ViON, has been appointed director of federal civilian sales and strategic partnerships at the Herndon, Va.-based government information technology contractor.
He will be responsible for overseeing the company’s sales strategies and partner relationships in the data center technology area, ViON said Tuesday.
Ammann said he aims to help federal clients explore technology options and understand how they can simplify IT procurement efforts through the “as-a-service” delivery model.
He brings more than 15 years of experience managing North American channel programs and knowledge of federal IT environments to his new position.
Prior to ViON, he served as senior director for enterprise channel sales at Fujitsu‘s U.S. subsidiary.
